Terrence Mann

Terrence Mann is one of the most prominent names in American theatre scene, he is an actor, writer and theatre director who works in the Hollywood TV and film industry. Born on 1st July 1951 in Ashland, Kentucky. Terrence is the eldest brother to his 3 other siblings, his mother was a concert pianist and his father was a singer. Naturally, music was a big part of Terrence’s childhood with two performers in his own house.

He was a natural singer, he used to love to participate in singing competitions locally and in school, but it was the thrill and pressure of acting that absolutely drew him towards doing theatre plays. He started doing theatre in his school at a very young age, he would perform at theatre plays with his seniors and would often be the show stealer. Terrence enrolled in North Carolina School of Arts and graduated with a degree in drama acting.

In 1980, Terrence finally achieved what he set out ot be all his life, he made his debut on Broadway, which is the greatest theatre an artist can aspire to perform at.
