Shazad Latif

Shazad Latif also known as Iqbal Amin, is a British actor. Born on 8th July 1988 in London. He is mixed of Pakistani, English, and Scottish descent. Shazad grew up in Tufnell Park located in North London and studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Shazad left the school a year early for his role in Spooks. Moreover, he has performed in many stage productions including his role as Joseph Surface in School for Scandal and Cornwall in King Lear. Shazad made his debut with his first major role in Spooks, in the year 2009. Moreover, he also appeared in all three series of Toast of London. Later, Shazad also worked in Penny Dreadful in the year 2016.

In 2017, Shazad joined the cast of Star Trek Click to look into! >> Read More... : Discovery, in which he played the role of Lieutenant Ash Tyler, moreover, he also played the role of Klingon Voq, which was supposed to be a plot twist. In the year 2018, Shazad worked on a project named Profile which won the Panorama Audience Award. For this film, he played the role of an ISIS fighter. Furthermore, in 2021, it was revealed that Shazad would play the role of Captain Nemo in the series Nautilus. Currently, he is working on the series Toast of Tinseltown. Shazad has also worked as a producer for the 2020 movie Dear Jesus. Some of his projects released in the year 2022 are What’s Love Got to Do with it, Rogue Agent, and Toast of Tinseltown.
