Frank Christian Marx, a German actor, and producer, began his career in theatre in Stuttgart, Germany. Marx worked in theatre productions for eight years and became a writer/producer. He later relocated to Berlin to stage theatre productions and act in movies and TV. Frank Christian Marx established Ente Kross Film 2010, a production company. He co-produced his feature film Dark Blue Girl in 2017. The International Film Festival in Berlin showcased the film. Marx, however, gained recognition after co-producing Men to Kiss, a romantic comedy movie in 2012. The film won accolades and is still globally distributed, but it was particularly significant for Marx at a film festival in San Francisco.
Years later, he produced the German short film "Das Phallometer" in 2014, which won awards and brought him back to San Francisco to present the film at the Frameline Film festival. Marx then relocated to San Francisco in 2017, where he continued to work as an actor and producer. Marx appears in the documentary Gay Chorus Deep South which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2019. Additionally, he also works as a tour guide in San Francisco.
