Eric Jacobson, an American inhabitant, well-known for his puppeteering skills, was born on January 15, 1971, in Fort Worth, Texas, USA. He is a puppeteer by occupation. He was married to Mary Jacobson and later had a child with her. Eric never had an idea of puppeteering in his mind but, during the days of his training in film school, there was sudden news of the death of a well-known puppeteer of America named Jim Henson. then Jacobson took charge. After the retirement of yet another well-known puppeteer Caroll Spinney, Jacobson played his part too. Likewise, for the Mupptes, Jacobson started playing the role of Miss Piggy in 2001. He also debuted in the character of Frozzie Bear and Animal in It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie. He has played many parts that were previously performed by Oz, including the character of Sam Eagle in The Muppet’s Wizard of Oz (2005). In 2001, he worked on The Book of Pooh, where he worked on the characters like Piglet and Kanga.
Jacobson, as a guest appearance, portrayed the role of Miss Piggy for shows like This Morning, Live with Regis and Kelly, Good Morning America, WWE Raw,Rove Live, etc. He also worked for the Disney channel’s series called So Random!. There is no second thought that Jacobson has worked hard during his career and played various roles in his time. His hard work paid him off. He was nominated for Daytime Emmy Award and Primetime Emmy Award.
