Christopher Charles Wood was born April 14, 1988, is an American actor. In 2021, Wood proclaimed He-Man in the Masters of the Universe: Revelation. Wood was born in Dublin, Ohio. After graduation, he played Melchior on the 2010-2011 national tour of Spring Awakening. He also starred with Joe Hardy in the 2012 paper Mill Playhouse production of Damn Yankees.  He started filming in a TV show called Browsers in early 2013.

Wood emerged as Malachai Parker's regular role in the sixth season of The Vampire Diaries; returned to the role of guest viewing during the eighth and final season of The Vampire Diaries. She also appeared in the guest role as Paul, in the episode "Beach House" for girls. He was portrayed in the role in the 2016 CW drama series, starring actor Jake Riley.  Wood gained 30 pounds per segment.  In April 2016, Wood played a role in the second season of the PBS season show Mercy Street. In 2020, Wood was sent into ABC driver Thirtysomething (alternatively), possibly in the much-respected Thirtysomething game, in which he played Leo Steadman, Hope's (Mel Harris) and Michael's son (Ken Olin).

In October 2017, he launched his “I Have No Problem” mental health awareness campaign which works to prevent stigma surrounding mental illness. Chris Wood was born in Dublin, Ohio.  As soon as he acquired his first eight-year-old camera, he began writing and directing short films that went into local film festivals. This includes the PROBLEM: THE SOLUTION, the story of the boy who dropped his contact lens and found that he had no communication at all. Critics say "... very good." In his final year, his school theater project featured a play about a talking corpse found on the roof of a business house. His mother didn't like it. Wood studied at Elon University in North Carolina, where he obtained a BFA at the Music Theater.

A few weeks before his graduation, he was appointed as a leading figure in the national Spring Awakening tour, which brought him to Los Angeles for the first time. His first lead role in the series came in a series of limited events, Containment (2016), in which he played an Atlanta-based police officer trapped in an isolation area and the emergence of a dangerous virus. Wood then joined the comedy series Supergirl (2015), a two-season arc, starring the great hero ‘Mon-el’. He also went back to his roots for making a short film, which he wrote and directed, and is still making progress in his first film. Wood's mother works in finance and his father works in a bank. She has one sister, who is a dancer and dance coach. In 2017, Wood launched the non-profit DONTMIND, a mental health awareness program that works to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness by making people speak freely about their minds.
