Chris Vance or George Christopher Vance is an actor of British origin. He was born in Paddington London in the year 1971. He went to St. Bede’s Secondary School in Bristol. Later he studied Civil Engineering and graduated from Newcastle University. He started his acting career at 25, performing in stage productions including Closer and Albert Speer at the Royal National Theatre. He then appeared in several British television series, including Kavanagh QC, The Bill, and Doctors. In 2002, Vance moved to Australia and had success in the television series All Saints. He later moved to the US, appearing in seasons 3 and 4 of Prison Break, appearing as James Whistler.

He is married to Ramona Vance.
