Mekha Rajan

Mekha Rajan is a South Indian television artist and actress. She was born in Chenglapattu, Tamilnadu, India. She has completed graduation. She started her career as a model. She was a model for brands such as Citibank, FedEx, Swatch, Tanishq from Titan, ABN Amro, Rado, designer wear shows in London, Colombo, Malaysia, Singapore, and various jewellery stores. In 2000, she was selected as the finalist in the Femina Miss India 2000 in Mumbai. She got so many projects afterward.

She got featured in the launches of popular motor companies like Mercedes, Toyota cars, and Ford. Mekha also got featured in the product launches of Birla, Hindustan Lever, Britania, RPG, and many others. She has worked in the media and advertising industry. She became famous with the Hamam advertisement. She is known as Hamam Amma in Tamilnadu. Mekha has appeared in numerous serials on Sun TV, Jaya TV, Kairali, Asianet, and Raj TV. She has appeared in Indru, which was an early morning show on Star Vijay TV.

She played the role of a protagonist in serials. She is not only featured in Hindi films but also in English, Tamil, and Malayalam films. Mekha also teaches young kids and students for a living. She is also a voice artist and singer. She sings Western and Indo-western fusion songs. She wanted to work with young minds. She spends most of her time in workshops with children. She often conducts storytelling sessions for them. She also teaches young students.

Her hobbies are dancing, traveling, and listening to music. She played the role in Kaka Kaka, Jayam Kondam, and other movies. She also played a role in Anantham, a ZEE5 OTT Tamil series. She was very active in English theatre in Chennai. She has anchored travelogues for television channels in Andaman and Nicobar islands, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangkok, and Thailand. She is known for Framed (2007), Bioscope (2008), and Ave Maria (2018).
