Krishna Priya was born on 26th April 1990 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. She was born and brought up in Chennai itself and later on her hometown also became a place for her to establish her career. Her height is 5’2, and her weight is 55kg. Krishna started working in film and television industry from a very young age. She is well known Tamil television and film actress. Krishna has worked in films like ‘Naan Mahaan Allah,’ ‘Yuva Ratna’ by Narayan Rao Upplapati, and ‘Divine Reality’ but was mostly recognized for her role in films like ‘ I’m not Saint’, ‘ Red Chillies’, and ‘Soan Pappdi’. Her film Soan Pappdi got released in the year 2015 under the direction of Sivani was a huge success; she starred in the film along with Shri and Niranjana. Her role in the film was appreciated and loved by both audiences and the critics.

She received various accolades for the film. Priya is married to Tamil film director Atlee Kumar since 9th November 2014; after their eight years of relationship. Both of them have known each other since Priya started working in television serial Kana Kaanum Kaalangal in Vijay Television. Priya was also recognised for her role in dance reality television show ‘Jodi No.1’, also in Vijay Television. Two met through famous television actor Siva Karthikeyan and from there on they went on becoming good friends, lovers and then the happy couple. Along with Tamil films and television, Krishna has also acted in a Malayalam film- Ottayaal Paatha in the year 2016.
