Anthony Daasan is an Indian singer, traditional Tamil folk musician, lyricist and an artist hailing from Reddiyarpalayam, Puducherry,Tamil Nadu. He currently lives in Chennai, India. He was born on 26th April 1977. He completed his education from the Government High School of Tanjore. Music is an associated and ever-lasting part of his life. He connected to music from a very young age. His vision and dreams lead to him celebrating the flavor of folk music internationally.

His deep roots, love, and passion are exploring a variety of traditional forms of art. When he moved to Chennai, he joined Sangamam and later got in touch with the industry because of his hard work, commitment and sheer passion for music. His debut song was Dindugal Sarathy. With that, he has worked with famous people like ‘Anirudh’, Santosh Narayan, ‘Imman’, and other personalities. Anthony represents folk music majorly. All this while, he was also closely associated with a rock fusion band called La Pongal which was doing great.

Simultaneously, he started his own band named as ‘Anthony in Party’. It is basically an electronic folk-fusion band. They did collaborations and played mostly at music festivals. Within no time, he gained a huge fan following. In 2012, Anthony also played one of his popular songs, "Vandiyila Nellu Varum” at the prestigious MTV Coke Studio India which was nothing less than a dream-come-true moment. Vinaita Sivakumar a youthful, flourishing singer who has recently become a popular name in the Tamil Film Industry as a young playback singer. Vinaita Sivakumar was born in Chennai and has done her schooling from D.A.V. Public School. She then went on to pursue a Bachelors degree in English Literature from Ethiraj College. She, however, turned to music as her choice of profession and did not go on to make a living off of her area of education. P. Kuppusamy was born in Tamil Nadu, India. He is a professional lyricist, music composer, vocalist, songwriter and a playback singer in the Tamil Film Industry. He is a very famous Tamil Folk Artist. He has sung in hundreds of stage shows and Tamil films. He is famous mainly for his effort to bring back a lost form of Tamil folk music namely Naatapura Paatu. The name of his wife is Ankitha Kappusamy. His wife played a major role in his success. Without her support, he would have never reached the level of success that he has achieved till now. Along with her wife, he has sung folk songs in hundreds of concerts all over the world and has popularized this form of song. He is also a famous playback singer. Both he and his wife worked together to release some audio albums on folk music and sell millions of copies of them.
