The story revolves around Sita, Ram and their two sons Luv and Kush. After defeating the evil power Ravana, Ram moved into his kingdom with Sita, his beloved wife. Due to false accusations about her modesty, Sita is forced to leave her belongings with Ram and heads to the forest despite being impregnated. She didn't lose love and respect for Ram amidst the situations as she realised that he also suffered like her.

When her two kids Lav and Kush arrive in the world, they excel at various skills like their father. They decided to search for him even though Sita banned them in doing so. Whether they will be able to reach their father or not forms the plot. The cast and crew bring out the scenes in a holistic way and that's the highlighted part of the serial.
