What is the essence of being a woman? her winning question in 1994 Miss Universe Beauty Pageant held in Manila, Philippines. She shattered the viewer and judges when she delivered her answer outstandingly.

Born Sushmita Sen in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India on November 19, 1975. A crowned Miss Universe, model and actress. She was the first Indian to bring home the title Miss Universe. She successfully reigned not just as a beauty title holder but also in Bollywood. This was then followed in 1997 with the movies “Zor’ and “Ratchagan.” Her movie offers continued to roll and made her first film awards as “Best Supporting Actress” for the movie “Biwi No.1” from IIFA Awards, Star Screen, Zee Cine and Filmfare Awards. She receive the “Rajiv Gandhi Award” in 2006 and ‘Mother Teresa Awards” in 2013. She also appeared in more movies like the revived “Sirf Tum”, the blockbuster “Hindustan Ki Kasam” and “Mudhalvan” in 1999, “Aaghaaz” and “Fiza” in 2000, the counterpart of “Liar, Liar” of Hollywood - “Kyo Kii... Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta”, the movie remake “Nayak: The Real Hero” and “Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai” 2001 and more followed. She’s also part of the film “Happy Anniversary” and “Nirbaak” in 2014 and her latest movie “Jodi emon hoto.”

She’s indeed the most glamorous star and winner in that beauty pageant. And it is indeed that it is not difficult for her to explain her essence of being a women, since in her introduction at Miss Universe I quote “I am from India, where love is the essence of life.” She also posted for different lines of cosmetics and dress and also busy nurturing her children.
