Shivya Pathania is an Indian Model and television actress who was born in Himachal, India in 1991. Shivya has completed her engineering from Chitkara University. In 2013, She was crowned as Miss Shimla. She also participated in International summer festival, where she got the titles of Miss Oye and Miss Beautiful Smile.

Shivya’s profession has been modeling, before she landed her first role in the Sony Television show Humsafars. She played the role of Arzoo Nausheen Khan opposite Harshad Chopra. Her role in Humsafars was that of an aspiring fashion designer who falls for a heartless fashion mogul Sahir, played by Harshad Chopra. The show aired from September 2014 to February 2015. The show was appreciated much for the amazing star cast and Shivya and Harshad’s chemistry.

In her interviews this beautiful girl has mentioned quite a few times that she takes inspiration from Bollywood actress Kagana Ranaut. Kagana is one of her favorite actress and Shivya feels that Kagana has worked very hard on herself and she really looks up to her for that. She said that Kagana and Vidya are two Bollywood actresses that according to her are women of substance and much more than just being beautiful faces.

One of her wishes for her future are that she wants to play a mythological character because she finds the role of mythological characters to be very challenging. She said that she would love to play Parvati in some mythological show because she wants her parents to watch her in their type of shows. But the actress is also scared as such roles form an image, which is difficult to break.
