Mahesh Pandey is a renowned Indian script writer, producer and director, known for penning many of the popular shows of ’s Balaji Telefilms like Koshish, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, , Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kutumb, Kahiin to Hoga, Bandini, Kesar, Kkusum, , Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki and Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi. Mahesh also penned the television series, Chhajje Chhajje Ka Pyaar which was aired in 2011 on Sony TV and Rab Se Sohna Isshq on Zee TV. Besides television series, he also worked in the screenplay of Ekta Kapoor’s Bollywood film, Koi Aap Sa, released in 2005.

After donning a lot of script writing in many popular television series and films, Mahesh also entered the world of production. He is the co-writer and producer of the popular television series, Anamika on Sony TV. This is the first soap that he produced in association with Indian producer, under their very first joint venture banner, Trishul Productions. Vikas and Mahesh also produced the popular soap, ‘Dil Se Di Dua…Saubhagyavati Bhava?’ on Life OK.

Mahesh also laid his hand and venture in film directing. He made his directorial debut through the film, 332 Mumbai to India in year 2010. His next film will be based on the real-life Bhawari Devi case, which depicts her mysterious death after she went missing on September 2011. Mahesh will be working on this film in association with the Balaji Telefilms and Motion Pictures.

He also produced and directed Bhojpuri films, Hum Baal Brahmachari Tu Kanya Kunwari and Rani Chali Sasural under the banner of Mumbaji Arts, released in 2013. He is also the director of the Bhojpuri style of the Bollywood film Sholay and entitled it as which shows an entry for the Balaji Telefilms in the Bhojpuri film industry.

Mahesh also done distribution of films. His brother, is also in the same industry and he had been helping Mahesh in distributing Hindi, Bhojpuri and English films under their very own banner, Shri Siddhivinayak Media Entertainment Company. They also obtain distribution rights for Hollywood films.

Mahesh was originally from Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh close to Varanasi. He got married to Madhu from Varanasi on June 24, 2011. Since their marriage was arranged, her wife was unaware that he is the man behind all the popular television serials, until their engagement. Madhu was very happy to know that he has a passion for writing. Mahesh also got the chance to work with famous personalities like Ekta Kapoor, , Sanket M Vanzara, Karthik Ramalingam and a lot more.
