A brilliant actress, Mukherjee is the daughter of the late veteran actor, Santu Mukhopadhyay. Jibonbabu, played by AbhijitGuha, is a bachelor who suddenly brings home a rather young wife, Uma. Jibanbabu has six young, hot-blooded bachelor tenants who are intrigued by their new boudi.

The story revolves around the fancy harboured and lived by the thakurpos. Their obsession and lewd fantasies are the main selling point of the series. Though not for all viewers, the series has amassed a wonderful audience and hence has been extended for three seasons. The cast is appreciated for their comic sense and is one for the light watch list. Swastika has been highly appreciated for her role as Uma. The entire series 1-3 can be watched in the Hoichoi app.
