The film will capture the hearts of cine viewers for sensitive performances of Arvind Swamy and Jayam Ravi along with two pretty ladies who are ideally cast in the film. The film will get good rating even for its superb star cast. This movie is an action thriller, where good and evil confront with each other. Mithran IPS (Jayam Ravi) is an IPS officer, who is determined to catch the kingpin responsible for spreading crimes in the society. He falls in love with Mahima (Nayanthara), but does not agree to move their relationship further as he wants to achieve a better goal in life, tracing the kingpins. Siddharth Abhimanyu (Arvind Swamy) is a vicious man, a science genius, but embodiment of evil and underworld kingpin.
Director Raja Mohan has treated the subject with taut screenplay and better characterization. The character of both Jayam Ravi and Arvind Swamy is well-balanced. Nayantara plays her role as a perfect glamour girl and director has etched out her role properly, while Mugdha Godse, a Bollywood model is paired with Arvind Swamy that brings good masala to the story. Jayam will be seen in hard role of a police officer, who plays his role with a low-key approach and great conviction, where as Arvind Swamy plays his negative role with minimum dialogues. While the role of Mithran of Jayam Ravi is undoubtedly the best in his career, Arvind Swamy too can get credit in this negative role, which he has never played earlier. Nayantara’s role has been sketched to show her histrionics and ability.
Overall, the film is a pleasing one to watch, which is pillared between evil and good. It is a real thrill to watch this crime thriller!
