Plot
An assistant commissioner is shocked to see his youngest daughter murdered. After the investigation, they finalize that a delivery boy is the murderer. He admits to the murder, and also reveals that he has already committed two murders. Meanwhile, the commissioner’s daughter comes alive. What about the other two murders, which he said he committed? Is he psychologically affected? The rest of the story deals with this!
Star Performance
Tharun Vijay did a fair job as a lover boy and a psychopath. This is a good debut vehicle for him. Seshvitha delivers a fantastic job. Madhusudhan Rao did his part so naturally. TSR Srinivasan is okay in his role. Nizhalgal Ravi is present, but underutilized.
Analysis
The plot is decent. But the narration is weak. For a new attempt, the makers should’ve experimented something new. The flashbacks are done with voice-overs. If they had been narrated with proper dialogue, it would’ve elevated the scenes. The investigation scenes are not shot properly. The first half moves lethargically and the second half moves decently than the first half, but with uneven pacing. For such genres, the BGM is very important, as it will elevate the scenes and create tension. That’s not the case in this film. The cinematography is decent. The editing is good, but if some more scenes had been chopped off, it would’ve made the film crisper. Despite the minimum running time, it feels a little lengthy.
