Plot
Kannan works in an IT company as a Team Lead. He bags a big project for his team, and this makes the opponents envy. When the project provider minimizes the timeline to 30 days from 90 days, the entire team works hard to finish the project, as per Kannan’s request. Meanwhile, Kannan’s family in the village fixes a bride for him. But, the girl loves somebody and is not interested in the marriage. So, to escape from this issue, Kannan decides to go to his house in the village with his colleague, Gayatri and requests her to act as his lover. What happens next? Did his family stop matchmaking for him? What happens to the project Kannan’s team bagged? Were they able to finish it on time? The rest of the film deals with this.
Star Performance
Sasikumar played an IT employee and looked good as usual. His performance is natural, and the dialogue delivery is neat. Nikki Galrani, Sumithra, Vijayakumar, Sathish, Yogi Babu, and Thambi Ramaiah have done what is required.
Analysis
Rajavamsam comes with the village script with joint family as the central theme. The film has the usual dialogues the hero mouths in the joint family setup. Unlike other village movies, this film has a hero and heroine from an IT company. The rest of the story is from the village subjects we have seen in recent times. The logic is missing in many places. As a Team Lead, Kannan mouths dialogues with his teammates to work a double shift. But, he left for his village to enjoy himself with his family. The film has all the essential elements of a rural entertainer with the template script and characters, including the marriage comedy, fight, relatives bonding, etc. It is questionable how the stars make these old stories with a similar plot and screenplay. Sam’s music is good, and the visuals are perfect in rural and urban setups.

Verdict
As the film comes with a plot that has been tested umpteen times, nothing is interesting regarding the script. If you love watching a family subject with a joint family as the base, you can try this once!
