Plot
Karthik and Anandhi are brother and sister. Karthik is a happy-go-lucky guy who doesn’t care for anything. Anandhi is married to a big household, where her father-in-law is a collector. Karthik doesn’t think much and act. He does things that he feels at that moment. One such thinking of him makes his parents send him to Ooty to Anandhi’s house. Anandhi doesn’t have any big idea about Karthik’s behaviour and thinks that she can handle him. But, his behaviour at her home with her husband Aravind and his father, splits the families. Even after this incident, Karthik didn’t understand the seriousness of the issue. Soon his father disowns him, stating that only if he solves the problem caused by him, he can join them. Archana comes as a mediator to help Karthik solve the issues. Will they bridge the gap? What will be the result? The rest of the film speaks about this.
Star Performance
Jayam Ravi is good in his carefree youngster role. His body language is fine and his dialogue delivery is awesome. Bhumika’s role is solid, and her affection for her brother is finely expressed. Natty has a simple yet neat character, in which he excelled. Rao Ramesh’s performance is completely entertaining. In fact, he is the show-stealer.
Analysis
Usually, Rajesh’s movies with Arya and Santhanam had been different. This time, he has tried a different pattern, yet his hero is, as usual, a carefree guy. The comedic moments are finely penned and the artists' selection should be appreciated. The film can be addressed as a performance-oriented movie with strong performances from Ravi, Bhumika and Rao Ramesh. The characters are well-written with some comedy elements laced in each of them. There are a lot of logical loopholes in the film that need not be cared for if we just want to watch a film just to enjoy with the family. The music by Harris is good and the visuals are cool. The editing could’ve been better in both halves.
