Plot
Ramu (Shiva), his cousin Murali (Karunakaran), and Ramu’s friend Babu (Yogi Babu) collaborate to steal money from Ramu’s miserly Sister-in-law Sharadha (Urvashi). Will they succeed, or will his sister-in-law catch them?

Analysis
Kasethan Kadavulada(2023) is quite disappointing compared to the original . Kannan made significant changes to the script, deviating from the original story. For example: sharadha is Ramu’s sister-in -law, whereas Laxmi (Manorama) was Ramu’s stepmother in the original. Kannan altered the climax, which is perhaps the only redeeming aspect. The Dialogue dilevery is mechanical, delivered with less conviction. Kannan faces criticism for his unsuccessful remake of a beloved film. The original movie is a favourite among the audience due to its memorable one-liners, but in the remake, the comedy feels forced. The original Kasethan Kadavulada is still remembered for the outstanding performance of its cast. However, in the remake, it fails to utilize even stars like Karunakaran,
