N Kannan is a Tamil Music Composer who debuted in 2010 with the movie Thamizh Padam. He studied at Music college even before he began his music career in 1988 as a guitarist. Over the last few decades, Kannan has created jingles for more than 600 commercials. Kannan debuted with the movie Thamizh Padam. He said that even if the film was a spoof, he wasn’t asked to spoof the songs. The soundtracks received a positive review and considered to be a memorable debut for Kannan.

S J Jananiy is a music director, singer, songwriter, composer, and instrumentalist. Her full name is Subramanian Jaya Jananiy. She is also known as Cuddalore Jananiy. Jananiy was born on the 10th of December in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu. Her parents are Shanti and V. Subramanian. She had her schooling from St, Mary’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Cuddalore up to 9th Grade. Later her family moved to Chennai, so she completed her 10th standard from Adarsh Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School. She had her secondary education from Sacred Heart Matriculation Higher Secondary School. She graduated in Economics from Stella Maris College, Chennai. She pursued her Master of Philosophy and Master of Art degrees in Music from Queen Mary’s College, Chennai. She also pursued her Ph.D. in Music from the same college. Jananiy started her career at the young age of five-years-old. She started her career with a stage show in Cuddalore. Her debut album “Natha Oli” released in the year 1999. Her second album was “Poongatru” which was with S. P. Balasubrahmanyam in the year 2002. She started composing music in the year 2012. She composed music for S. P. Balasubrahmanyam’s “Kandar Shakthi Kavacham,” and “Subrahmanya Bhujangam.” She performed in about 1000 stage shows so far. She won many awards for her work. Some of her prestigious awards are National Child Award for Exception Achievement in 2001, Pogo Amazing Kid Award by Pogo TV in 2005, Rising Star- Idea Jalsa National Award from Indian Music Academy in 2009, Union Prize for MA Indian Music from Queen Mary’s College (2014), and many more.
