He is a multitalented writer belonging to the Southern India. He had given a new word to the English language ‘Lifotainment’ which means the entertainment through short stories or novels. He firmly believes that anything that is written should either influence oneself or the others in the society. He is the son of Vairamuthu, a national award-winning lyricist and Ponmani Vairamuthu, who was a writer and had worked at Meenakshi College of Engineering. He had a brother named Madhan Karky, who is also a lyricist. His wife is a gynecologist named Ramya. This cute couple is also blessed with a daughter named Mettoori Kabilan. Initially, he worked as a software Engineer for two years and then went on to study Journalism and Media.

He had written his first book when he was 18 years old. He is well-known for his unique writing style and also his unique stories that attracted many people. The main character of his third novel named ‘Meinigari’ was introduced through his website much before it was released to the market. When he was in his college, he started an organization to solve the issues related to youngsters named ‘Makkal Anukka Peravai’ and the main purpose of it was to start a school for politics in the Tamil Nadu. He thought this could be a platform for the youngsters to participate in the politics. He had launched a 24-hour news channel named ‘Puthiya Thalaimurai’. He was the executive producer of the show named ‘Gaanamum Kaatchiyum’ which is the first time TV show to give the reviews of songs in different movies. He was a famous poet, and some of his well-known poems are ‘Kavithaigal 100,’ ‘Endraan Kavingan,’ etc.

He had also written a short story named ‘Kathai’ which had become very popular. His one of the famous novel is ‘Boomerang Bhoomi’ which is a novel based on global terrorism and it was so excellently written that some of the universities have chosen this book for one of their papers. The other famous one being ‘Uyirsol’ which is based on post -depression and it’s a true story. He had also written the lyrics for the Tamil blockbuster movie named ‘Udhayam NH4’ and also for others which include ‘ Jeeva,’ ‘ Sivappu,’ ‘Indirajith,’ and ‘ Om’.

Madhan Karky Vairamuthu was born on March 10, 1980. He lives in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He completed his education from College of Engineering, Guindy and University of Queensland. He is an Indian lyricist, software engineer, a professor, research associate, and a film dialogue writer. His parents are Vairamuthu and Ponmani; his father is a poet and a lyricist. He is their eldest son. In 2001 at the college of engineering, Guindy he completed his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Further in the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia he completed his Post Graduation and Ph.D. in information technology in 2004. In 2010 he became a lyricist for the science fiction film Enthiran. For this film, he wrote the song "Irumbile Oru Irudhaiyam." He also assisted the director S. Shankar in writing dialogues for the same film, especially with technical terminology. He wrote the song “Ododi Poren” and became his first release for the Kanden Kadhalai (2009). He had been awarded for the Best Find of the Year in Vijay Awards for his work in Enthiran. In 2010 he was nominated for five categories and won 4 awards namely best upcoming lyricist from Mirchi Music Awards South and V4 awards for the same category, the best find of the year from Vijay awards and top 10 Nambikaigal from Vikatan Awards. In 2011 he was nominated for 11 categories and won 8 awards from Big Tamil Rising Awards, Vijay Awards, Vijay Music Awards, Mirchi Music Awards and so on. In 2015 he was nominated for the song Pookkalae Sattru Oyivedungal of the movie ‘I’ and won the award for Best Lyricist from Edison Awards. In 2011 films he worked as a lyricist. Enamo Aedho was the song of KO’s soundtrack which became very popular for its lyrics. High budget films had included in his work like A. R. Murugadoss's 7aam Arivu. For this film, he wrote the song in the Chinese language. He has also written a song in Portuguese. He worked on dialogues for the film Nanban and also wrote lyrics for a duet song in 15 languages. For the next highly anticipated film Kadal of Mani Ratnam, he penned down three songs. For the film Baahubali and Mass, he has written dialogues. For Kalakeya tribes, he created a new language Kiki in the movie Baahubali. Photography is also his passion since childhood, apart from penning down songs . Yugabharathi is an Indian lyricist and poet. He specializes in writing Tamil poems and Tamil songs. He was born in the Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu. Yugabharathi’s real name is Prem Kumar, but he changed it to Yugabharathi as it was his pen name for his poems. Yugabharathi completed his Matriculation from Maxwell Matriculation Higher Secondary School. He also has a Diploma in Engineering from Government Polytechnic College. He started his career as a poet in early 90’s and wrote poems for various Tamil magazines. He changed his name to Yugabharathi to honor his idol Subramanya Bharathi. He started his career as a lyricist with the movie Aanandham. He wrote lyrics for Pallankuzhiyin in the movie. After that, he wrote lyrics for many songs. His first work as a successful lyricist came out in the year 2002 in the movie Run. He wrote the song Kadhal Pisase, which became a huge hit. He wrote more than five songs for different movies. Some of his mentionable work that year was Maayavi in the movie Devaloga Rani and Sandakozhi in Dhavanipotta Deepavali. Yugabharathi’s songs were liked by everyone and were even acclaimed by the critics. Because of his success in the film industry, he drifted apart from the poems and started writing songs for Tamil movies. His career as a lyricist was at the peak in the year 2014 when he became the most demanded song writer. He wrote more than 15 songs that year, which include Onnuna Rendu, Kandangi Selai & En Anbe. Some of his latest work include lyrics for Athaadi Yenna Solla, Usrey Nee, Anantha Thendral & Kudiya Vedu in Mahabalipuram. He is currently working on two projects named Rani Murugan and Anjala, which are set to release this year.
