Plot

Subash is in his dreams to become an IPS officer. He is a sub-inspector by profession and very much attached to his family. Besides having a strong physique, he has a strong mental power too. Subash is an expert in hacking the latest gadgets. Subash faces a case in which he witnesses the doubtful death of a middle-class girl. He turns angry when his senior asks him to close the file as suicide death. But, Subash deals with the case and catches the culprits. But, one of his superior officers supports them and suspends Subash. His family members are murdered for the case handled by Subash and now the sincere police officer decided to take revenge on the killers. Did he succeed in his attempt? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

The cop role is tailor-made for Jayam Ravi. He looks perfect in it. Raashi Khanna’s chemistry with him is good. The rest of the cast had done what is needed for their roles.

Analysis

Although the storyline is not new, the screenplay and the narration are interesting. Karthik Thangavel had done a good job and he has to be appreciated for choosing Ravi as his hero. Karthik has brilliantly dealt with certain scenes and his anger on the societal issues is visible. The punishment for the rapist is well made. The action scenes have come out well. Although the chemistry between Ravi and Raashi is good, the romantic scenes didn’t gel with this cop thriller. The cinematography and the editing are good. Sam CS’ BGM is perfect.

Verdict

With the right blend of action, sentiment, emotion and romance, Karthik has made a good meal for the audiences. Adanga Maru not only has the action dhamaka, but comes with a message. Watch the film in theaters and you will definitely like it!
