But, things take an unexpected turn when Seenu a local don and cinema enthusiast, undertakes the same job for a different client, assisted by his aide Parvathi. The plot spirals into a series of comedic misadventures. The rest of the story is about how Chaitanya and his gang conduct the kidnapping and come out of their problems. What happens next? Did he kidnap Shetty’s wife? These questions will be answered in the movie.
Star Performances
The film’s strength lies in the commendable performances of its ensemble cast. Harsha gets a key role but his loud as hell portrayal feels forced onscreen. He does not do anything different from his past performances. Shraddha Das does what is required from her character. It is good to see Sunil in a meaty role of a hard-core Chiranjeevi fan. Even with his half-baked role, he manages to add something to the film’s narrative.  The rest of the cast manages to support the film’s story with their performances.
Analysis
Since the plot of the film is nothing different from what the audience has already experienced, what works with such accidental comedy films is the script and especially the comic elements of the story. Unfortunately, Paarijatha Parvam fails to do so.
Director and writer Kambhampati Santosh falls short of making his mark with this venture. With more focus on developing the story and screenplay, the outcome could have been different. A well-crafted screenplay laced with thrilling elements could have greatly benefited the movie. The entire first half is a sham and tests your patience. It is filled with the same old kidnapping drama scenes, silly humor, and boring characters. However, a small twist related to the kidnap is executed well in the latter half. There is not one episode that makes sense in this so-called comedy caper. While watching the film, one gets a feeling that there was so much scope for comedy but that is not utilized properly. A few scenes in the pre-climax and climax grab your attention, but the rest of the film is bland and over the top. While some of the comedy scenes in the movie are enjoyable, most feel forced. The unnecessary filler scenes of the film break viewers’ attention and cause their lack of interest. With better dialogue writing, the movie could have been impactful. Several characters of the film lack proper development and have limited screen time which makes it difficult for the audience to relate with these characters. The songs in Parijatha Parvam, composed by Ree are passable and hardly memorable, but the background score is disappointing and at times irritating, to say the least. The score uses daily life ringtones of the old Nokia phones, and its repeated use diminishes the impact of the scenes and makes the audience uncomfortable.  Bala Saraswathi’s cinematography is just fine, and nothing great to rave about. However, Sasank Vupputuri’s editing could have been sharper to maintain a brisker pace and a more engaging narrative flow. There are so many repeated scenes in the initial part of the film that look dull and could have been chopped off. The production values are satisfactory.

Verdict
Paarijatha Parvam presents a mix of humour and crime that entertains in spurts but doesn't quite coalesce into a fully satisfying action comedy. While Harsha Chemudu, Sunil, and Srikanth Iyengar manage to save the film to some extent with their comedic performances, the movie is hindered by unnecessary scenes, pacing issues, and a lack of engagement. It is a disappointing crime comedy that fails to engage due to its weak storyline and screenplay.
