How the son of a mill worker turned a deadly don? Watch the film in theaters.
Arjun Rampal has chosen to do this role without any fear. Performance wise, Arjun has no flaws at all. He has just fit into the skin of the role, Arun Gawli. All the other stars had done the roles perfectly as per the direction. Aishwarya Rajesh, the Tamil actress, beautifully portrayed Zubaida and she excelled in the languages too.
Ashim Ahluwalia has made a good attempt at making the biopic of a gangster turned politician. The script is good and Arjun’s fresh attempt gets appreciation. Arjun Rampal’s make up needs a special mention here. In most of the scenes, we couldn’t find Arjun Rampal, but the gangster turned politician, Arun. Thanks to the makeup artist, who has completely changed Arjun to Arun. Coming to the actress Aishwarya, she is not well versed in Hindi and Bengali. But, she has taken a lot of efforts and worked hard to make her role a touching one. It is also to be noted that the director didn’t complete the biopic but finish off the film with a jail term for Arun Gawli.
What’s Not There?
If you are a fan of the gangster movie, then this is for you. The director has changed the color tone of the brutal murder scenes and hence it will not affect the audiences, much. Arun Gawli biopic Daddy is watch worthy!
