Plot

Yudhra is about a protagonist who has anger issues that developed because of an accident his mother went through while she was pregnant with him, and this resulted in some damage to his brain. He loses both parents at birth due to these unnatural causes. Dangerous people who are a part of a drug syndicate are involved in the parents’ deaths. After his parents’ deaths, his late father’s colleague adopted him. However, Yudhra is unhappy with this situation and is bitter about it. Yudhra gets in trouble often and is jailed too many times. Because of this, his guardian decides to send him to Pune to join a cadet training institute. There, he comes across his childhood friend, Nikhat, and gradually falls in love with her. The film has a perfect coincidence where he is given the task as an undercover agent to take down the organization that was involved in his parents’ deaths.

Star Performance

Siddhant’s acting was smooth and natural, and his action scenes were top-notch.

Raghav Juyal is a fascinating antagonist and plays his role very well.

Analysis

The film’s story is too ordinary, and the writing is disorganized. The film’s pace is so slow that it gets exhausting to watch. On top of that, even though the film is good initially, the story does not build as it progresses. The twists are predictable and not creative. The protagonist’s acting skills are impressive. He’s a natural in the action scenes. However, there is too much focus on action and a lack of focus on the story. The film was also unnecessarily prolonged. The bike chase scenes were exciting and indeed spiked up the adrenaline rush. There is an illogical irony in the character of Yudhra. Despite having anger issues, he can stay calm and make calculated decisions. It just does not add up. The dialogues are pretty interesting. However, the characters lack chemistry. The romantic aspect of the film felt dragged. The cinematography and the background score are good.

What’s There?

• The action scenes in the film are enjoyable to watch.

• The protagonist shows impressive acting skills.

• There are exciting dialogues.

• The cinematography is good.

• The background music chosen is perfect.

What’s Not There?

• The film has a mediocre or ordinary story; nothing stands out.

• The writing makes parts of the plot confusing and jumbled up.

• There are some logical clashes regarding the protagonist’s personality.

• The characters have very little chemistry between them.

Verdict

This film is perfect for those who love full-on action movies that focus on action scenes more, regardless of how good the plot is. However, if you like a good plot more than the action scenes, then you might not enjoy this film.
