Cinematographers are one of the most important parts of filmmaking, but their work is often ignored because they work from behind the cameras. However, Pankaj's work was not neglected as it was capable enough to reach everyone. Pankaj Kumar is a renowned and hardworking cinematographer who predominantly works in the Indian film industry.
He did his primary schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya Hakimpet Secunderabad in 1993 and later completed his education at the Film and Television Institute of India. Pankaj's camera has perfectly captured the scenic beauty of evergreen movies like Haider, Tumbbad, Ship of Thesus, his debut film, Talvar, Judgementall Hai Kya, Raat Akeli Hai, and the list goes on. Pankaj went out of the blues to get the best of the best.
Not just his work, but his sheer dedication too, was honoured with the Film fare Award for Best Cinematography for Tumbbad. His projects were nominated multiple times for many prestigious award functions like Film fare and Screen Awards. Pankaj is indeed a blessing for the Indian film industry and we wish him the best of all things.
