Prashant Ingole is a Belagavi-based lyricist, who rose to fame after penning the lyrics of the song Gajanana that entered the Guinness Book of Records in 2015. Gajanana was one of the four tracks that he penned for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s box-office epic historical film,
Sukhavindar Singh sung Gajanana, along with 15,000 students, while creating a massive human formation of Lord Ganesha. Ingole has used seventeen names of Lord Ganesha in the song that lasted for 3.37 minutes. Ingole attended Bhatkhande Music Institute till SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate). He started his career as a lyricist in Chandan Arora’s 2010 Bollywood film, Striker. But prior to this, he struggled for eight years and only got his first break after penning the song ‘Paisa Hai Power’ in 2008.
In 2012, he already produced the hit song ‘Party on My Mind’ for Abbas-Mustan’s action thriller film, Race 2 (2013). A few years later, he penned four tracks in Omung Kumar’s biographical sports film,

He also worked on Ashim Ahluwalia’s upcoming biographical film, Daddy, which is based on the life of Arun Gawli, a gangster-turned-politician.
