Nishikant Kamat is a famous director of Indian films. His first movie was Dombivali Fast, a Marathi film where MadhavApte a middle-class bank employee, who is very honest and will abide by the law all the time face injustice and corruption in his life.

This was a story of Nishikanth Kamath and Sanjay Pawar starring Sandesh Jadhav and Shilpa Tulaskar in lead roles. Later it was remade in Hindi and Tamil also and got an amazing response there. In Marthi, this film became a blockbuster and Nishikant became a famous personality after his first film. It was recognized on of the biggest Marathi film at that time.

In 2006, this film got the National Film Award as a Best Feature film in Marathi. Nishikant Kamat also acted in a Marathi film namely Saatchya aat gharat, a 2004 movie under the direction of Sanjay Surkar and under the production of Smita Talwalkar. Nishikant Kamat himself wrote the script. The story was of a real incident that happened in the University of Pune, where a person deceived a student as a police and raped her. It was chosen for Best Film and Best Director and Best Actress in 2005 Screen Awards. He also directed a move in Bollywood titled Mumbai Meri Jaan, a story based on 2006 Mumbai Bombings under the production of Ronnie Screwvala. The film got some of the famous stars like Paresh Rawal, Soha Ali Khan, and R. Madhavan. This movie also got so many Filmfare awards at that time.

Kamat also played a negative role in a Bollywood movie titled Rocky Handsome, a thriller, and action film under the direction of Kamat. John Abraham, Sharad Kelkar, and Shruti Haasan played the lead roles in this movie. John himself co-produced this film under his banner John Abraham Entertainment by collaborating with SunirKhetrapal’s Azure Entertainment. The story of this film is about taking revenge on a mafia gang that kidnaped an 8-year girl, who have a special bond with John.

It was released worldwide on March 25, 2016. He played a role in Hava Aney Dey, which was a project involving Indian and French technicians and the production was also shared between Indian and French production houses. He also did a remake of Drishyam in Hindi and got an amazing response at Box Office. Lai Bhaari is another amazing film that was directed by Kamat. He also did a remake of Kaakha Kaakha in Hindi with title Force in 2011.

Danish Aslam is an Indian film director from Mumbai, known for his directorial venture, a comedy-drama, Break Ke Baad. He was born on September 19, 1975, to the current IGNOU's vice-chancellor Professor Muhammad Aslam and Nuzhat Aslam. Before making his directorial debut, he worked as a second assistant director and assistant director for films like Swades, Salaam Namaste, Being Cyrus, Fanaa, Ta Ra Rum Pum, Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic. During the same time, he has also done some acting roles like Young Ranbir’s Teacher in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, Ravina’s brother in Exitz and a minor role in Salaam Namaste. He never thought of becoming a director or an actor, he was preparing for medical entrance examinations, following his parent's suggestions, but was unable to clear entrances. He then went to take a second attempt and started preparation. In the mid-way, he realized that he didn’t want to do that. He then switched to English Honors, which was just a random selection. He then went to Jamia and did his Mass Communications. Even while studying in Jamia he had no clue of what he wanted to do in life. His thought behind joining Jamia was that one can get time and exposure to sort things out and decide what to do. He then joined as DA for the film Let’s Enjoy without having any idea of what DA does. While working as an AD for lakshya and during this time, he figured out that he wanted to go for filmmaking and then shifted to Bombay from Delhi. He then spent as AD for the next eight years starting from the bottom and then released his own. During his initial stages as an AD in Bombay he faced many problems including financial, but he overcame all those odds and now emerged as a successful director. In 2010, he married Shruti Seth, who is an Indian television VJ and also a Film Actress. He has a sibling Benish Aslam.
