Anupriya Goenka is an Indian film and television actress and a known commercial model. She was born in Lucknow and moved to Mumbai to pursue her acting career. Before moving to Mumbai, she studied at Delhi’s Gyan Bharati School and later attended Bhagat Singh College. She was a Commerce graduate and the face behind the UPA’s Bharat Nirman campaign in 2013.

Anupriya has one brother and two older sisters. Initially, she was helping her father in their garment export business and acting has always been a hobby for her. Until one day, she realized that she can do justice for theater and her corporate career. Director Pradeep Sarkar introduced her in an advertisement for a personal hygiene product. Since then, there is no looking back.

Anupriya has done several ads for Federal Bank (FedBook), Saavn, India Ka Big Boss, U- Kare (dktindia), Stayfree, Club Mahindra, Colgate and many more. She was debuted in the blockbuster Telugu film, "Portugadu" in 2013. This film is a remake of the Kannada film, Govindaya Namaha, which was also directed by Pawan Wadeyar. In the same year, she has done a short film entitled Worth the Kiss, opposite Raj Singh Choudhary. In 2014, she bagged another Telugu film entitled Paathshala, helmed by Mahi V Raghav and the Hindi comedy drama film, Bobby Jasoos.

Anupriya also did an episodic in MTV Webbed 2 entitled The Bullies and Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui, alongside Sumeet Sachdev. She played as Sonam in the television series, "Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya 2" in 2014, opposite Parag Chadha. Recently, she played as Avanti in the Season 2 of "Bindass Halla Bol".

This 2015, Anupriya auditioned for Myntra’s latest ad that went viral in the social media world. The ad turned out to be India’s first lesbian advertisement, which is part of the ‘Bold is Beautiful’ series of the popular clothing brand, Anouk. The ad is showing her while speaking to her parents and guiding them to meet her partner (played by Neha Panda) for the first time.

Anuradha Menon

Anuradha Menon is an Indian theatre artist and television actress. She is known for her alter ego Lola Kutty, a popular VJ on Channel V. Born to Mini and Mohan Menon in Kerala, Anuradha moved to Chennai at an early age.  Anuradha began performance at an early age as she actively took part in theatre production in her school. She also joined The Madras Players, a group of amateur theatre performers, in her teenage years. With theatre in her heart she attended London School of Drama for a year and moved to Mumbai, which served as a major stage for English theater. This is when she got her break in theatre and played a governess in “The Verdict” by Divya Palat. This is when she was discovered by Channel V and landed her role as the popular “Lola Kutty”. In her show she would interview Bollywood personalities and became known for her wit and Malayali accent. Her show Lola TV has won three Gold PROMAX & BDA India Awards, including one for best comedy promo.  Anuradha, throughout her career, was also offered many movie roles in Bollywood but chose to focus on her theatre career. Lola Kutty was nominated at the Indian Telly Awards in the year 2006 for the Best Anchor Award Talk Show for. She appeared in the movie named Quick Gun Murugan in the year 2009 as a Locket Girl and also in the film named Happy New Year in the year 2014 as a television reporter. The character of Lola was often criticized by some Malayali people for being offensive to the people of Kerala. But, Anu Menon said that Lola is a funny character not as a region, but as a person in an interview. Since she is a Keralite, there is no chance to assume that she is insulting the people of her state. She also mentioned that the accent was used only for the entertaining the viewers. She wanted to make people of Mumbai know the existence of Kerala in India's map. Though she has chosen a different way to achieve this, she wanted to prove that any person from South India did not mean that he or she is a Madrasi, but there might be people from other states too.
