Who Won The France Box Office, Kaala Or Mersal?

Kaala Karikalan, the Superstar “Rajinikanth” film has been running in theaters successfully, worldwide. Despite the mixed reviews, the film has collected Rs. 140+ crores in the box office, worldwide. At the end of the first week, “Mersal” directed by Atlee Kumar and featuring “Vijay,” Samantha Akkineni, Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya Menen, had made 13, 549 entries in France, whereas Kaala has got just 5877 entries. The film had overtaken Mersal in the Chennai box office in the first day. We have to wait if it had overtaken the Mersal record, worldwide. Kaala featuring superstar has Nan Patekar as the antagonist and “Samuthirakani” in an important role. Easwari Rao plays Rajini’s wife and Huma Qureshi as the ex-lover of Superstar. The film is directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by “Dhanush.” Santhosh Narayanan composed the music and it is his second film for him with Rajini, after “Kabali.”
