Vijay Sethupathi’s Soft Heart!

Vijay Sethupathi has been playing in half-dozen films including “96” with Trisha Krishnan, Super Deluxe with “Nadhiya,” Fahadh Faasil and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, “Seethakathi” with Parvathi Menon and “Oviya and Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren with Gautham Karthik. Chennai had been hosting the International Film Festival. 12 Tamil films were screened. Suresh Sangaiah directorial venture, Oru Kidayin Karunai Manu has been chosen as the best film. Vikram Vedha directed by Pushkar Gayathri featured by “R Madhavan” and Vijay Sethpathi got the second place. “Maanagaram” directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj that features Sundeep Kishan, Sree and Regina Cassandra got the special jury award. Vijay Sethupathi got the Amitabh Bachchan Youth Icon Award. He was rewarded with a lakh rupee along with the award. Vijay Sethupathi donated the entire amount to the movement that hosts the Film Festival. At present, Vijay Sethupathi is busy in filming his production venture, “Junga” with Sayesha Saigal. It is also reported that Priya Bhavani Shankar plays a guest role.
