Yesterday night around 10’ o clock, when the Indian Fishermen from Rameshwaram, were venturing fishing in the Indian maritime border, the Sri Lankan Navy shot them. ,” announced a relief fund to the family of Britso and Saron. Britso family will be compensated with Rs. 5 Lakhs and Saron will be receiving Rs. 1 Lakh. Meanwhile, the fishermen have announced to protest indefinitely. It is shocking to hear that the Sri Lankan Navy just announced that they didn’t have crossfire. If not them, then who is the question rolling. However, the problem will be solved only if the government takes the initiative to get back Katchatheevu, say the political experts. Will it happen?
