,” stated that as Chennai is densely populated, the infection rate is high. If the people had followed the government’s guidelines, then, we could have controlled the virus spread, stated the CM. He also noted that the government had increased the testing per day and 4000 tests are being done in Chennai alone.
Yesterday, Chennai reported 967 cases out of 1162 cases in TN. The coronavirus positivity rate in Chennai is 25% and this is equal to the rate of Maharashtra, which is on the top in coronavirus infections in India.
India had crossed 2,00,000 cases and is in the seventh nation in the world to have 2 lakh + cases. Where is this heading?
