Kamal Haasan shared his emotional moment on talented Kalpana with the press. He said "It's very difficult to believe her absence as a star. When I came to know that she is no more, it made me cry that she couldn't perform anymore. I always had the bliss of watching both the sisters Kalpana and Urvashi attempting the same film in two languages". He also reported "I'm thanking the science which helped me to relax myself. I relax by displaying her moving images organized with replay button. Only by this way we can see Kalpana's performance here after. I'll miss Kalpana as Kollywood, and Mollywood industries will mis her" ends Ulaganayagan.
