Donations From Kollywood Flooding Up To Save Chennai!

The Kind hearted actors of South India are showering with the funds and essentials to rescue the victims of the north-east monsoon rain, which caused floods. “Sivakumar” and his sons Suriya Sivakumar and Karthik Sivakumar have donated a huge amount of Rs. 25 Lakhs as the donation to the CM Public Relief Fund. Super Star ‘Rajinikanth,’ who is abroad for shooting his next, “Kabali” has sent a massive amount of Rs. 10 Lakhs to the Chief Minister Relied Fund. The amount was handed over to the Nadigar Sangam President “Nassar,” who collects the relief funds. Vishal Reddy, the General Secretary of Nadigar Sangam, contributed Rs. 10 Lakhs for the relief. Similarly, “Prabhu” and his son Vikram Prabhu and have donated Rs. 5 Lakhs. “Sivakarthikeyan” and “Dhanush” also donated a tremendous amount of Rs. 5 Lakhs each, to the victims. “Sathyaraj” and his son “Sibiraj” have donated Rs. 2.25 lakhs. Apart from these actors, Raghava Lawrence has spent a lot to the victims of the floods by supplying them with food, dress, medicines and other essentials. Ajith Kumar has opened his Mohini-Mani Trust, Old age home, Orphanage and his home for the victims. At present, he is managing to feed nearly 200 people, who are the victims of the flood. “Vijay” has opened his Wedding hall for the victims to stay there. Even though, Siddharth Narayanan’s house is flooded with water, he shifted his house to the terrace and came out from the house to serve the victims. By joining his hands with “RJ Balaji,” Siddharth helped the victims move to the safer places. It is also said that Hansika Motwani has donated Rs. 15 Lakhs to the rain relief fund. Actress “Kanika” supplied the food items and the essentials to the rain-affected Chennai people. Singer Chinmayi Sripada also supplied the essentials to the victims. It is reported that some of the top actors including Vishal and Karthi are moving towards the Cuddalore city, which is affected by the north-east monsoon, more than Chennai.
