Plot
Radhamani is a mason, specialized in titles fitting. As he drinks liquor, even while working, his family suffers a lot. His wife plans and admits him to a rehabilitation centre. But, Radha escapes from the centre and creates ruckus. What happens to his family? Will his wife accept him as an alcoholic person or stay away from him? The rest of the film deals with this.
Star Performance
Guru Somasundaram lived as Radhamani. He performs well as an alcoholic. Sanchana performs naturally and impresses us. John Vijay is given a solid role, and he utilized this opportunity well, and has done a good job.
Analysis
The story is good and the performances are impressive. But, the plot has no twists and turns, and is predictable so easily. Maaran’s comedy works out well in some sequences. Those scenes in the rehabilitation centre and Radhamani’s addiction gain attention of the audience, yet the film seems too lengthy for this simple subject. Many scenes are made in a way to spoon feed the audience. The production values are decent. The visuals and BGM are okay. Editing should have been crisper.

Verdict
Bottle Radha carries a social message. If the scenes are made with more interesting sequences, twists, and turns, then it would’ve been better. However, for the performances, it can be watched once!
