Earlier in 1962, Shiva’s father “Dr.Rajkumar” played the role of the saint Kabir in Mahatma Kabir. The sacrifice of love by the protagonist towards the people, his beloved and parents is something unique, and that was another driving force behind me doing this film. We had to speak the truth in this movie as it is about something that happened in the 14th Century. We couldn't have added anything extra like a comedy track, as that would be an addition simply for commercial purposes. We have only highlighted Kabir's life and what happens in the santhe, as that is relevant.” We hope, Shivanna’s performance will surely attract the audiences.
