Isaipuyal AR Rahman shared his dais with soccer legend Pele and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee to enjoy a football game conducted by the India Soccer League. Pele warmed up to AR Rahman and posed for photographs with him.
Being Pele’s birthday, Rahman surprised him and the crowd, by singing him a birthday tribute song. It will be remembered that Rahman had earlier composed the music for the biopic film on the life of Pele.
Earlier in Chennai, AR Rahman had graced the opening ceremony of the League and shared the dais with Superstar Rajinikanth, cricket icon
