Anand Raghav

Anand Raghav is an Indian Tamil screenwriter, playwright, and short-story writer. He was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He pursued his higher secondary education at Thiru Vi Ka Higher Secondary School. He also studied at the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He went to the Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College, Arumbakkam, in Chennai to complete his Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree. He married Sujatha Anand on August 17, 1992. He has been living in Bangalore, Karnataka.

He has successfully established himself as a writer, short story writer, playwright, translator, and content writer. He engaged as a Screenwriter (Oct 2017 – Nov 2017) at Passion Films Chennai, India. He has written screenplay and dialogues for many Tamil movies. He has been Vice President of Finance at Favorich Infra Private Limited since May 21, 2020. He has been working as a Chief Commercial Officer at Caerus Skillmatic India Private Limited since Dec 2017. He has got an annual award for the Best Story of 2010 for Ilakkiya Sinthanai. The award has given by a prestigious literary organization based in Chennai. He also credited for four books. Two of them are compilations of his short stories. He is the finalist in the Hindu Metro-plus playwright award for his English play. He also worked as a content writer for two major projects of Digital Museums on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Vedaranyam Salt Satyagraha movement. It involved extensive reading and writing a documentary film, several stories for infographics, and animations.
