Suchitra is counted among the legendary artists in the Music World due to her exceptional talent. She is undoubtedly becoming the most popular and famous in the music department. Her childhood was filled with the combination of stories and music as her grandmother used to sing her stories in music. She was motivated by her and took Harikatha classes from her. Since then, she has given around 500 harikatha performances, roaming all over Tamil Nadu, and across India - New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore – conveying ancient stories of Hindu deities and saints set to music.

A few of his gurus in vocal music were Shri T.N Seshagopalan, Kalaimamani Srimushnam, Smt. Padma Sandilyan, and Trichy Shri Venkataraman and Harikatha gurus were, Smt. T.R Kamala Murthy, Shri. U Ve Ananthapadmanabhachariyar, Shri. Balaji Bhagavathar, and Smt. Vishaka Hari. They all have polished her skills in their ways and have contributed towards the growth in her career.

She has performed numerous times and is therefore recognized by people from all around the world.
