Arun

Arun is a famous actor from Tamil television serials. He started as an actor and later went on to prove himself as a director too, currently working on the movies to do his own feature film. This appreciation to visual media helped him become a better actor. Arun was born in 1989 July 14. He was originally named as “Prabhakaran”, which later became Arun. His home town is Mayilaaduthurai. He was born in a family full of scholars and musicians. His family moved to Chennai, when he was a very small boy.

Arun learnt to speak in many voices which his friends enjoyed. They encouraged him to try acting as a career. He decided to give it a try and entered the media field as an actor, assistant director. He worked in number of famous serials such as Alaigal, Uravugal, Thendral and Pondaatti Thevai, working with many directors. He enjoyed working on television serials which gave him a great exposure while making him popular. He used it as an opportunity to work on his own short films which he believed will take him to the world of movies.

Arun joined Tamil movies with “ Manmadhan Ambu Manmadhan Ambu is a Tamil TV series. The show prem >> Read More... ”. He worked on number of movies and learnt the art of storytelling. He used it as an exercise to create his own stories and currently in the process of finding a producer for his first movie. He is interested in all aspects of movie industry and believes that he will make best movie to support this industry one day, with the experience he gained by acting in number of television serials, which are invaluable resources.
