He scripted a film about water scarcity and started designing the film as a woman-centric. To play the strong female lead role, he approached “Nayantara,” who permitted him to narrate the story. 

After hearing the narration, Nayantara is quite impressed with the script and had immediately shared her dates for the film. So, Nayantara is the first heroine, who trusted Gopi and provided him with an opportunity to become a director.
