Gopi Nainar alias Minjur Gopi is a story writer, who is born and brought up in Chennai. He has worked an assistant director with a few popular directors. He was shot to fame after complaining that “ Vijay” and Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer “ Kaththi” is his story and it is stolen by “ A R Murugadoss.” When asked about this to Murugadoss, he said that he didn’t know Gopi at all. Gopi also filed a case against Murugadoss for story stealing. But, he withdrew the case, after some time. He also filed a case against Murugadoss for verbally abusing him with reference to his caste.

Gopi also claimed that “ Madras” directed by “Pa. Ranjith” is also scripted by him. Although Gopi ran from pillar to post, in both the appeals, he didn’t get success. Gopi didn’t want to stop there. He wanted to get a strong identity as the director. He scripted a film about water scarcity and started designing the film as a woman-centric. To play the strong female lead role, he approached “Nayantara,” who permitted him to narrate the story.

After hearing the narration, Nayantara is quite impressed with the script and had immediately shared her dates for the film. So, Nayantara is the first heroine, who trusted Gopi and provided him with an opportunity to become a director. The film directed by Gopi is titled as “ Aramm” and Nayantara plays a District Collector. The film has KaakkaMuttai fame Ramesh and Vignesh, Sunu Lakshmi and Ramachandran Durairaj. The film is expected to hit the screens in March 2017.

Jawar Sitaraman or also known as Javar Seetharaman is an Indian film writer, screenwriter, director, and also an actor. He was born in Tiruchirappalli, Madras Presidency in India. He was a lawyer by profession but shifted to films after joining the Gemini Studios. He had written several script and dialogues for many Tamil and Hindi films including Andha Naal (1954), Aadi Perukku (1962), Ramu (1966), Suraj (1966), Do Kaliyaan (1968), Aadmi (1968), and much more. He also wrote the story of the 1962 Bollywood film, Main Chup Rahungi, where he earned a Filmfare nomination for Best Story Award. This flick was the remake of Kalathur Kannamma, a very popular Tamil film which had Gemini Ganesan, Savithri and Kamal Haasan (Kamal Haasan debuted with this film) taking pivotal roles. The film was very much appreciated by audiences and critics and Kamal Haasan made a strong debut as a child artiste with this film.  In 1969, he directed the Hindi film, Paisa Ya Pyaar, which stars Ashok Kumar, Mala Sinha, Biswajeet, Tanuja, and Shahikala. Jawar also acted in few Tamil films including Andha Naal (1954), Ezhai Padum Padu (1950) etc. Ezhai Padum Paadu was adapted from the novel Les Miserables written by Victor Hugo. Andha Naal is another feather in his cap and he had written the dialogues and screenplay for it. It is a mystery thriller starring Sivaji Ganesan and the film had no songs and dance. He was doing a good work in cinema till 1970. One interesting fact about the actor is that he got the prefix Jawar or Javert due to his essaying of Javert in the 1950 Tamil flick Ezhai Padum Padu.He also essayed the role of Major Bannarman in the well-received flick Veerapandiya Kattabomman starring Sivaji Ganesan. He had also written stories for magazines.
