Prasanna Ravi

Prasanna Ravi is an actress, anchor cum newsreader who worked in the Tamil TV industry. Prasanna is an actress who played comedy and negative roles on various channels. Prasanna debuted as an English newsreader on Jaya TV. Prasanna was the only news anchor who read both English and Tamil news on Jaya TV. She started hosting Live shows while anchoring the news. Soon, she was offered the editor role in Jaya TV shows. She handled multiple roles on Jaya TV. Later, she became a program producer on Jaya TV. She was the program producer of Illaram Nallaram, The final 13 episodes of Jackpot show, discussion shows, and Jaya Star Singer with AR Rahman.

She became the head of the sub-editing division on Jaya TV. Later, she was posted as the assistant news editor and the assignment head of Jaya TV. Prasanna worked for nearly 15 years on Jaya TV. While Arnold Schwarzenegger visited Tamilnadu to attend the 100 Years of Indian Cinema, Prasanna interviewed him. Prasanna was recommended by the late CM Madam “Jayalalithaa” to attend the International Women’s Day in Delhi, which was presided over by Sumitra Mahajan, the Speaker.
