Satish Chakravarthy

Satish Chakravarthy is an Indian music director and film composer. His works have flourished well in the Tamil film industry. He was born on 1982 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He graduated as an engineer from the National Institute of Technology in Tiruchirappalli. He pursued a music career at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.  His major influence in music is Ilayaraja. His other inspiration source is the legendary singer and music director MS. Viswanathan. He also mentions that his favourite singer is the renowned singer and songwriter Shreya Ghosal. He began his journey as a successful music director with the renowned singer and music composer A. R. Rahman and worked under him for fourteen to fifteen films.
