K Moorthy kannan is an indian dialogue writer, script writer and film director. He works in the tamil film industry. Moorthy was born on the 6th of january in the year 1974.
He was born in thirukkadaiyur, tamil nadu. Initially, moorthy worked as an assistant director under the director p. Vasu, who directed many hit films in telugu, tamil, hindi, malayalam, and kannada film industry like “guri” (1983), “needhiyin nizhal” (1985), “samparappanam” (1987), “idhu namma bhoomi” (1992), “hogi pyaar ki jeet” (1999), “shivalinga” (2017), and many more.
Moorthy had his debut as a director with the film “naalaiya pozhuthum unnodu” (2007). He was also the writer of the film. He then directed another film named “saalaiyoram” (2016) which was written by him as well.
