Early OTT Release For ‘Vidaamuyarchi’?

With ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ showing no signs of recovery, the makers are now compelled to go for an early OTT release.

The movie was released in early 2025, after multiple delays. However, despite the performances by Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan, the film failed to impress the masses. Made on a huge budget of 250 crores, the movie barely managed to earn 135 crores worldwide.

This is the first major flop for Ajith Kumar since 2022, when his venture ‘Valimai’ had tanked at the box office. Ajith Kumar had starred in movies like ‘Thunivu’, which were average grossers at the box officers.
