Siddharth Venugopal

Siddharth Venugopal is an Indian film actor who majorly appeared in Tamil films. Siddharth was born on 28 November 1985 in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. His schooling was done at Lisieux Matriculation Higher Secondary School.

He was graduated from Kumaraguru College of Technology in Information Technology. While pursuing his Degree, he was interested in acting. Therefore, he went to start his film career but returned to education in 2011 after joining for an MBA course at Graziadio School of Business and Management in Pepperdine University located in California.

In his college days, he was extremely interested in acting and modeling. So, he did a course related to acting and modeling. He was doing ads, shoots and all. Fortunately, he did some print ad, and this was seen by the Director Gandhi Krishna.

This director liked Siddharth and offered him to act in his movie. He took six-hour audition to select Siddharth. This film got a poor review from critics. One of the critics from Sify.com stated that the actor 'could do little to save the film'.

Another critic from Rediff.com said that Siddharth’s performance on the screen was one of the weaker aspects of the film stating “though he does his best when he’s romancing with his beloved one, and there were sparks during the sentimental scenes, he seems to miss his cue a few times, making you wonder if someone with acting chops might not have done a better job.

Even with a successful film career, Siddharth chose to go back to California. He continued his education there. He completed his MBA in California and went to work for multinational companies such as Paramount Pictures and Viacom.
