Krishna Kulasekaran

Krishna Sekhar is a Tamil Actor. He is the brother of the noted film director, Vishnuvardhan. After limited appearances as a child actor in several films like Anjali, Iruvar and The Terrorist, actor  Krishna Sekhar made his film debut with a leading role in  Ali Baba in 2008.  After several critically and commercially successful films as a child actor, he starred as an adult hero in his fathers’ production ‘Alibaba’. 

He followed it with leading roles in ‘Udhaya’, ‘Kattradhu Kalavu’ and  ‘Kazhugu’. ‘Kazhugu’ was released in 2012. K. S. Madhubala produced the film along with his father and the film received mixed reviews. However, this film gave him some recognition in Kollywood.  He was also an ideal choice of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Thalapathi’ and he was assigned to play the younger version of Rajinikanth’s character. But his role was scrapped as it affected the film’s length. 

It is true every new face of Mani Ratnam had come a long way. Krishna Sekhar too had faced the camera at a young age. Like other Mani Ratnam’s discovery, this young actor turned into Kollywood star afterwards. Though he looks good and has made several attempts at acting, he did not make a big mark in Tamil cinema. Hopefully, he has now five films in his hand that will get released in 2015 and then one could say if he has made a strong foothold or not. In the year 2014, he has four movies that got released. In 2015, he acted with Arya in ‘Yatchan’. 

He also had attempted doing comedy roles in film like’ Yaamirukka Bayamey’( 2014) and ‘Vanavarayan Vallavarayan’(2014) and was partial successful only. Some of his films like ‘Vizhithiru’ and ‘Pandigai’ is currently waiting to hit to the screens soon, and  this promising actor was nominated for Vijay Award for best debut actor for the film ‘Ali Baba’ in 2008. Krishna Kumar also known as  ‘Krishna Kulasekaran’ or very often credited as’ Kreshna’ was born in  Kumbakonam on February 14, 1986. His father’s name is Kulasekharan. This actor had married Hemalatha, who has his long-time girlfriend. Their marriage ran successfully for one year and now the actor has filed for divorce. It is believed that his wife doubted him for having a relationship with several other women. As this actor had to return late night from shooting on some days, she suspected him. Her doubts caused him loss of concentration in his work and hence he filed a divorce.
