Livingston is a noteworthy supporting actor and comedian of Tamil cinema. His work as a solo lead in the flick Sollamale, where he played the role of a low confident lover, got him much acclaim. Apart from acting, Livingston has also tried his luck in penning scripts. During his early stages of his career his screen name was Ranjan.
Livingston is active in the industry since 1988. Sundara Purushan, Kanni Rasi, Engalukkum Kaalam Varum and Sollamale are the works for which he is known for lead roles. He penned screenplay for
and Kanni Rasi by joining hands with G M Kumar of Avan Ivan fame. The flick Thandachoru introduced him as a music composer (he had aspired for it for a long time) and director. This movie is yet to be released.

Initially Livingston was into singing by perfoming star shows. He also had the aspiration of becoming an actor. Right from his childhood days Livingston was a huge fan of MGR. On the personal front Livingston is married to Jacintha and is blessed with two children.
