Plot

. Kundhavi is the main person who sent an international drug cartel leader behind bars. So, he tries to finish her off. To safeguard her, a private security agency in Chennai was fixed and Joshua is assigned to save her. Joshua is the ex-boyfriend of Kundhavi. Before joining the investigation agency, Joshua was working as a contract killer. In the process of safeguarding Kundhavi, Joshua gets injured. But, he learns about the person behind the attack, through his boss, Madhavi. Soon, Kundhavi’s father, Chidambaram, comes to take her to a better place. But, Joshua learns from his boss that Chidambaram has come to kill his own daughter, as he is also involved in the drug cartel. What happens next? The rest of the film showcases it.
Star Performance
Varun’s performance is good in action scenes. He tries to project himself as a good actor. However, his romance and emotional scenes didn’t work better than his stunts. Raahei’s performance is not much impressive. Krishna’s screen time is less, but he attracts. DD’s performance is impressive and she has got a solid role.
Analysis
The plot is simple. A person who killed people turns savior only because of love. With this oneliner, the director tried to build a huge action story laced with romance and emotions. The leads are not much impressive in romance scenes and their chemistry is not up to the mark. Though the rest of the cast is impressive, the leads are the main ones. GVM should have opted for a better lead actress. The action choreography, visuals and the BGM are impressive.

The filmmaking is impressive and if the leads had worked a bit harder, the film would’ve gone to a different level. However, Joshua is watchable once!
